I went through a few minutes ago and read through some of my old posts, and I found one about my lack of male attention that I think needs to be updated.

I now have a wonderful, WONDERFUL boyfriend. We met this summer (at Books-A-Million, no less) and have been pretty enamored with each other ever since. What else can I say? He treats me like a princess, and that's the most any girl can ask for. And since we have had in-depth discussions on which worlds in the Star Wars universe we would like to visit, I think we were made for each other.

As for the other subject of that post...my ex and I are actually pretty good friends again. He got engaged over the summer and is now happier than I've ever seen him. And while I doubt I'll get an invitation to the wedding (let's face it--ex-girlfriends and weddings just don't mix), I am VERY happy for him. I'm glad to say that I've gotten over the angst and simply want him to have a great life.

So. I don't feel like commenting on the political situation right now, as it might make me vomit, but I will probably start paying attention again soon. I lost interest in blogging about politics shortly after breaking my foot last year; I guess my own struggles to get mobile were enough without adding other peoples' struggles to get the White House.

All I can say now is...we're screwed? Time will tell. But Mike Huckabee, I hope you're ready to run in 2012!
